Private Albert Little

 

The background of this North Irish Horseman is not known at present.

Albert Little enlisted in the North Irish Horse between 29 January and 12 April 1917 (regimental number between 2393 and 2398 – later Corps of Hussars No.71800).

In January 1918 Little embarked for Egypt with a draft of North Irish Horsemen from the regimental reserve depot at Antrim. There he was attached to the 1/1st Nottinghamshire Yeomanry (Sherwood Rangers). He served with that regiment in the Palestine campaign.

On 27 July 1919 he was demobilised and transferred to Class Z, Army Reserve.
